“Every single course brought something new to the table to me; I was so captivated. A challenge for me, is logging off work in the evening and coming back to it. After that first course, I was anxious to get right back into the next course.”
TELL US ABOUT YOUR MOTIVATION FOR SIGNING UP FOR NEXT PATH?
“I’m human resources and I don’t have a technology-focused background, but our organization is tech-based. We were looking to hire different tech-related positions within the organization and although I’m not the director recruiter, I sometimes assist. When I saw this, I saw this as an opportunity to one, learn more about coding and what coding is, and two, provide team members with real information about my participation and experience.”
WHAT WERE YOUR HESITANCIES GOING INTO NEXT PATH?
“As someone with no experience in the language of coding, I didn’t want to come in and be a burden to the instructor and not know things that I thought everyone should know. I realized that this is really a place even for beginners and my fears were eased.”
HOW DID YOU FEEL ONCE YOU WERE IN THE COURSE?
“The instructor was absolutely incredible. He treated all of us on the same level. There were some individuals that had some coding experience, but I wasn’t intimated by that. The instructor was incredibly clear, concise, and patient.”
WHAT WAS THE THOUGHT PROCESS BEHIND HAVING YOUR STAFF TAKE THE COURSE?
“There are leaders within the organization that might not necessarily come from the healthcare or technology background and so I was so focused on incorporating this into our process for those individuals.”
IF YOU HAD TO SPEAKE TO ANOTHER EMPLOYER THINKING ABOUT HAVING THEIR STAFF TAKE THE NEXT PATH COURSES, WHAT WOULD YOU TELL THEM ABOUT THIS COURSE?
